December Meeting

Hello to everyone! I hope you have had some time to make some new creations over the last few weeks. Make sure to bring your filed and ready to fire BronzClay pieces back to our next meeting so I can take them home and fire them for you. Kay has offered to host our next meeting at her house. This is one of my new jewelry creations from the BronzClay. I have to say that it was easier seeing it in my mind than putting it altogether. See you soon!

Hey if you haven't checked out milliande, a site dedicated just to women artists, you don't know what you are missing! Check it out, this is the site I told you about that has a Christmas Ornament exchange going on called a Wichtel! Now you have a chance to make a Christmas Wish List and maybe get yours picked as a winner!

It was great getting together with you all last week! I had fun making some new BronzClay pendants with you all! Next meeting is at Kay's house, the 2nd Thursday of next month in December. Well, I finally finished three BronzClay pieces, and I already sold one of them! I'm looking forward to making some more pieces, and I plan on working with the BronzClay at our 1st meeting for this year. If you e-mail Sharon Rogow and let her know you want to purchase some BronzClay from her, I'll bet she makes sure to bring some! I'll be glad to fire your pieces for you if you don't have a kiln.

Sharon also attended the Metal Clay Conference and she will be sharing the information she learned there with all of us on that day

Fall Into Our Meetings Again!

After a break from our monthly meetings over the past four months, we are excited to once again begin meeting with our fellow crafters! We have decided to meet on Thursday evenings the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6 - 8:00 p.m. We've had a relatively small group of regular attendees over the last year. We met at the City of the World Gallery and split the cost of a $25.00 rental fee between all the members who showed up.

If you are interested in joining our society this year, please attend our first meeting which will be Thursday, November 12th at 6:00 p.m. at the City of the World Gallery. That is located at:

1229 S. Casino Center Las Vegas, NV 89104 (the corner of Colorado & Casino Center Blvd.)

The discount certificate cannot be used online; the discounted order must be phoned, faxed, or mailed in, with the discount certificate returned to Art Clay Society.

Who can join Art Clay Society?

Art Clay Society is open to any and all metal clay artist or enthusiast, regardless of experience level or preferred media. Please note that the Art Clay Society, based in the United States, functions primarily in English, and does not yet employ multi-lingual staff.
