Welcome Newcomers! Randy & Suzanne heard about us from our table at the Glass Craft Expo. and decided to come and check us out! Suzanne is a Level 1 ACS Instructor who moved here from NY!

Old Business:
*Please join the Art Clay Society if you haven't done so yet, it's easy to join, and costs only $30.00 a year for members and $25.00 a year for Certified Instructors. You get the awesome quarterly newsletter filled with tips and tricks of the trade that you don't want to miss and a special discount with each newsletter!

New Business:
*We would like to get a group of people together to attend the 2011 Metal Clay World Conference. Let us know if you want to go and we can split the room costs!
The dates are:


Pre-conference Classes: July 11-13, 2011

Conference: July 14-16, 2011

*This meeting we are making Charms for Charity as it was suggested that we all pitch in to help raise funds for this worthwhile cause in our latest ACS Newsletter! What a great way to use our talents to help others!

ACSSN Minutes

Date: March 11, 2010

Location: Sue' House

Attendees: Sue, Kim, Kristi, Sharon, Kay, Betty

 

Meeting was called to order by President Sharon at 6pm

Old Business: Meetings will be held every month on the second Thursday of the month. For now we will meet at a Members house. Next meeting will by at Kim Wallis's House ~ Thursday, May 13. Please read driving instructions below.

 

New Business: There will be no April meeting due to the Glass Craft Expo at the South Point. Discussed who could watch our booth at the Glass Craft to get new sign-ups. We will have and election in June for new officers for ACSSN . The new Copper Clay from Art Clay World was discussed.

 

A reminder to ACSSN members: please be sure your dues are current with Art Clay World.

 

Meeting adjourned at 6:30pm to work on projects.

Art Clay Meeting on 5/13/10

Hi everyone,
Hope you are planning to join us at our next Art Clay meeting! We will be meeting at Kim's house. So if you don't have the directions and would like to come, please shoot me an e-mail and I will be glad to share it with you.

In the Art Clay Quarterly Newsletter for Spring 2010 there was a call for Charms for Charity 2010. The Metal Clay community at large will again officially sponsor the Charms for Charity Fundraising Event. We will be creating charms for bracelets and for necklaces which will be raffled to raise money for cancer treatment and prevention at this meeting. Last year $12,270.00 was raised through this event. 

The deadline for sending in charms is July 10. Charms are to be sent to Holly Gage at P.O. Box 614, Bowmansville, PA 17507.

Please bring a snack to share with everyone, as many of us come straight from work. Wine is always welcome!
